Major life changes

In this world of change, nothing which comes stays, nothing which goes is lost.

~Anne Sophie Swetchine

In the time since my last post, my life has taken quite a turn.

Things have been bubbling beneath the surface for a long, long time;

and now those bubbles are like air, floating all around me.

Two days from now I will receive the keys to my new house.

This weekend I will move in.

I will awaken that first morning in my new house

on the day I turn 41.

This house is mine, and this will be the first time

I have lived alone, a prospect I find thrilling.

My marriage is ending due to my own initiative,

but we are parting as friends.

In the coming weeks, posts here may be few

and far between, but I will be back in the swing

as soon as I get settled.

At that point, I will have a whole new place to reveal to you.

Hope this finds you peaceful and happy.
Until next time...
Anne

  2. I will look forward to 'meeting' your new very own home and going on the journey with you. Though of course I am sorry your marriage is ending. Parting as friends helps. Much love to you in these days ahead and birthday happiness...November is my birthday too. I will be 44.

  7. Hi Anne,
I wish you all the best as you undertake this wonderful-scary journey! I took the same journey almost ten years ago and except for a few fleeting moments (I'll be honest - there were some moments of doubt) it's been a fun and rewarding trip! And you know what? I am peaceful and happy. I hope you find yourself to be, as well.

  9. Anne! No wonder you have been on my mind so often in the past few weeks..! What major changes you are facing. Both good and bad I am sure.
I know how hard it must have been for you to let go of your old house. So many memories.. That garden.. I admire your strength and am very excited for your new beginnings!
I hope the transition will be conflict free, and that the move will go smoothly!

Biggest hugs, best of luck and also Happy Birthday!!
